Hydropower Projects: EIA Scoping

Nalsing Gad, Jajarkot Dt., Nepal, EIA scoping meeting

I have just returned from Jajarkot District in the western part of Nepal. Together with a team of national experts I traveled (read: walked) up to and into this long and remote valley, and conducted a number of scoping meetings with local people. Very good discussions, and much information to digest and use in preparing the scoping document and the PCDP. Also, some lessons learned, which may find a separate outlet.
